interdisciplinarity and the preface plague
Posted on | October 7, 2004 |
an old sydney pal and founding fibreculturalist david teh has just returned from the AoIRconference in Brighton and the critical animals meeting in Newcastle (Australia). he has some interesting things to say about the fine art of the 15 minute conference paper, the plague of the preface and the usefulness of too much methodological reflexivity. on this last point, his ideas seem to echo some of kris’s reactions, as well as some discussions on friday at MACS, so i wrote back. MACS report to follow.
