I've been asking around on your behalf. A woman I know got hand-stiched, fuzzy, lime-green underpants for her 26th. Does that help? What if I told you that they have a small pocket in the front? You can delete this if you want. -k

Phillip Noyce? Isn't he the guy who directed 'Sliver'? Hehehe.

I'm still gonna give you that double pass to the Metallica movie, but I'm having trouble finding it. So does that fit? Oh and some CDs.

When I was 26 I got...? I don't remember 26. It was better than 22-24. 25 was terrible but necessary and has since become my favourite. I got 'the fear' for my 25th birthday, that was my present and it has served me well.

27 I can't remember. 28 I got a copy of Kurt Vonnegut's 'The Sirens Of Titan' from Iron On. A Myers gift voucher from my parents, which sits unused in a drawer with the one from Christmas. My ex-girlfriend sent some pirated DVDs from Cambodia, the pick of those being quite a deluxe version of 'Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas' and 'The Big Lebowski', two of my all-time favourites. She also sent some crazy 70s exploitation movies involving a lot of gore and most of the actors walking around half the time with their boobs out. Its a heady mix, she thinks their hilarious.

I celebrated my 28th at the Vic Hotel, Brunswick VIC with a $5 steak and a free cocktail. It was my first birthday on tour. Later we ran home in the cold and Rene from the Bites took the photo used as my blog avatar, the one of me, my brown-vee-neck sweater and some grafitti reading 'I go sic to Kyuss'. Arguably, birthdays don't come much better.
