all apologies

this site is pretty interesting… a bunch of web enabled types sending a counter-message to the election result in the states. there’s something endearing, if awkward, about the ‘i tried’ appended to many of the apologies. but surely most of ‘the world’ to whom these messages might be addressed don’t have a phone line, let alone internet access, even if they could read English?
