The nightlife in WA was something to behold. I personally would have appreciated the power to enforce the last of these stipulations:

You went to The Lookout?!? I really hope no one from Perth recommended that peculiar little tank of nightlife to you! I suspect if that last restriction was enforced by someone with taste then The Lookout would often be quite empty …

no i didn’t actually go in, i was walking past with a friend. i believe my comment at the time was ‘this is the stuff of which blogs are made’.
i did go to the metro in freo tho. yikes.

Well, next time you’re on this side of the country, we shall have to introduce you to more exciting nightlifery!
Just be glad you missed one of Perth’s more insane party inventions: the Beerinator (http://thewest.com.au/20041215/news/general/tw-news-general-home-sto130036.html)!

I used to hang out in scabs. Up in the top car park with the car boys… not in the lookout with the speed-addict, u-wanna-fight bouncers…
