In spirit

Right this minute I’m unfortunately missing Brisvegas Grogblogging. I’m eagerly awaiting photos and lots of drunken/hungover posts over the next day or so. But no coy reports allowed! I want details.

My excuse is good: I’m back in Hobart this weekend for a friend’s wedding. I think it’s going to be a bit like a school reunion, thus I’m planning to wear long socks and Mary Janes in honour.

    It was good fun - though I declined the opportunity to go over to West End with some grogbloggers and smoke aromatic substances through a Turkish water pipe. Ended up at the Bowery where the aircon broke down and the terrible 70s music inclined me to drink kahlua and milk to harmonise - to my cost today! Neal Cook took the photos - so we’ll see if any turn up online!

    Is that too coy?

    Lots of wedding pics on flickr - tho don’t get them confused… The Hobart wedding was at the vineyard, the week before in Brisbane Kiley Gaffney and Paul Curtis celebrated at Karaoke City (where yours truly came out as a Young Guns/Bon Jovi wannabe!)
