Thanks to Katy I won’t forget to set my VCR to tape Le Tigre guest programming Rage tonight before I head out to see Iron On (who have a new album and a new website) and Spod at 610 Anne St in the Valley. Ooooh and I just found out Queens of the Stone Age will be joining Interpol at Splendour in the Grass this year. Excited? Just a bit. Who’s coming? Camping tix on sale May 9.

So how was it? I am really curious about what sort of stuff they played…

Check the playlist on the Rage link Sandy. I taped it because I am lame and can’t stay up late enough. I missed the first hour getting home from the Valley madness, but I did see Babes in Toyland’s “He’s My Thang” before dozing off. I can’t believe Babes in Toyland could be described (by Kathleen) as not very well known! What is wrong with the youth today? Anyway, think I’ll be watching the rest tonight as I cook dinner.
Christian – looks like your much postponed tour north may yet transpire!

I intend to go to Splendour this year, because the delightful folk at Vodafone gave me 2 free tickets. Now that I have got my sponsorship responsibilities out of the way (and I would like to note that I have subsequently left those blood-sucking telecommunications providers for some slightly less-sucking ones), I would like to say how much I have enjoyed the new QOTSA album and am excited to catch them in Byron. New Interpol – not so great, but I’m sure they’ll put on a good show for me. And I can’t wait for PJ Harvey, Killers, Gillian Welch and Peaches to be confirmed. But that would never happen…

Well I was stupid enough to not have changed the time on my VCR to reflect nonDST so it started recording an hour early and stopped an hour early too. It only got up to Cibo Matto’s Know Your Chicken…
