Andrew Ross just gave me four of his books! They join the signed copies of The Hacker Manifesto and Dispositions that Ken Wark gave me the other day, and other goodies Larry Grossberg gave me in Chapel Hill. I feel special. My suitcase home will feel heavy.

4. So many languages, so often, all the time

Yesterday I ate Pub Chips: ‘Just like potato chips only better.’
Wednesday I ate Hushpuppies, Crabcakes & Fried Green Tomatoes.
Tuesday I ate two breakfasts because Cathay Pacific decided it was cheaper to serve meals fitting the destination time zone.
