Cliffy, apparently Larry's new book has the working title "When Did Cultural Studies Get So Boring" - which is certainly a title I sympathise with right now - so you aren't the only one. He has a newish book out called "Caught in the Crossfire". And the new Keywords is out here in the US, but I haven't seen it in Oz.

Glen - cummerband?

Oh I kill me.

but they have the World Series in baseball, played by such countries as Atlanta, Michigan, New York, and LA. Surely they are global ;)

Hanging with Grossberg, haha. Ask him when a new book is coming. I'm bored.

So apparently the US is one of only three countries in the world that uses 'triband' and that's why my phone isn't working. Do I believe the Optus guy? Do I complain furiously that I wasn't told this before I left, when I advised them I would be in the US?? Hrmph.
