Questions I am pondering

Why do I persist in trying to write the same section of the same introductory chapter when I have five other chapters to write?

Why do I keep getting emails saying ‘ARC applications are due at exactly the same time as your book, Mel’ (and there’s nothing you can do about it because you are but a blip in the ocean and you should have written your book by now)?

Why do the people I would like to return my emails (i.e. my publisher) not write to me at all?

Why does the same bird keep waking me up at 4.30 every morning?

Why does every second apartment block in New Farm appear to be having extensive renovations?
