Not the most uplifting sight on my lonely walk back to the carpark this evening! I have to teach next week, too - sigh.

Connecting this sentiment with upcoming teaching implies that you think that it must have been students, but its worth noting that it pretty well summarises the position of a range of colleagues I have talked with over the years, not to mention those in managerial echelons. Did you look for inky hands in the senior common room?

well, to be fair, there is some pretty unexamined machismo within the socialist movement over Che and the deification of handsome socialist men… maybe it was a feminist activist?
