Under the pump: PR poetry

Think outside the square
A picture paints a thousand words
You’re not getting any love
You have to be your own self-promoter
The man out front
Taking one for the team
What flies and what dies
Piggy-backing
Gate-crashing
Presser
Snapper
Have to keep putting yourself out there!

Snort. I felt for her, I really did, but that babies-aircraft carrier-roses story really was a bit much.

Awesomeness. I half felt for her, and half felt she should take her own advice: research her audience…? Seriously, “Produce a small, glossy brochure of your research that people can take away with them.’? If I hadn’t laughed, I’d have cried. But that’s showbusiness, baby.
