Posted on | March 24, 2010 | 9 Comments

I just sent off the manuscript that has been keeping me so anti-social. I am beside myself. I have no idea what my life will be like without this book weighing on my mind!

Below is the ToC. I have already sent some bits to a couple of you, but basically most of this is new writing. If there is a chapter or section that you particularly want to see, please do get in touch. I could use the feedback.

Woo hoo! Huge congrats, Mel. I can’t wait to read it. FWIW I assume the world will look like a place with a sky and trees and time to cook and binge-watch television. At least over Easter. ;)

Glad you found me! I should find out soon when… the contract was for a September release but I am a bit late getting the manuscript in. Happy to send other sections if you want to read more.

Hi Mel – read the SMH article on the perils of the extended office… I find myself automatically checking email on my iphone during the night, sometimes not even realising until the following morning.

I’ve only just taken steps to alleviate the anxiety of unread emails by moving the email application to another screen off the home – is working wonders :)

Very interested to read more of your research. Thanks for identifying and creating a discussion on the dangers of this kind of thing.
